Introducing The Gaymer: the world’s first LGBTQ video game news website!

Oh hey, I didn’t see you come in there. Have a seat next to the twelve video game consoles, mimosa station, and leftover multicolor feather boas from that one night we don’t talk about…*clears throat* because The Gaymer is LIVE.

Orlando, Florida is no stranger to LGBTQ culture. We have one of the largest, most passionate communities in the world, so where better to begin the world’s first video game website centered around our love for all things fabulous? Our thumbs are stronger anyway. Don’t think too hard.

At The Gaymer, our goal is to offer our writers a platform to passionately wax poetic about the biggest happenings in the video game industry, while celebrating diversity and equality in all forms. Seriously, we quite literally live for this stuff and if we’ve done our jobs correctly, you will too. So here’s the gist: if it’s LGBTQ-related in the video game industry, we’ll report on it. We’ll also review games as they become available to us (we’re not one of the big dogs yet), interview LGBTQ game developers, and in the long run, we hope to become involved with various LGBTQ charities by hosting or sponsoring various fundraisers. This is how we, as gamers, can give back to those we love.

So here’s to something a little different, and something jubilantly familiar. Love is love: time to slay faces. Play with pride everybody, and thanks for reading!

Hi there Gaymer, it looks like you’re in need for some female gaymer authors lol. I am very interested and very gay. Currently, I’m an HS English/History teacher so I enjoy writing and I’m an avid ps4 gamer, although I like to keep up on what’s happening throughout the whole industry. Let me know what you think!
