Hasbro and Harmonix are teaming up for a new board game!

Toy-maker Hasbro and Guitar Hero pioneer developer Harmonix are collaborating on a new board game. Dropmix allows players to create a mix of licensed music tracks by using NFC (near-field communication) cards.

The game was shown to a select few at Toy Fair and GDC last month so not much is known about the product. The only details are that players can use the variety of cards on the game to play either a bass line, vocal track, drum beat, etc. The game syncs up with the player’s mobile device using the game’s app by combining the played cards into a remix.

The game is set to be released in September so we may know more information as the game gets closer to launch. Here is a list of included songs:
