Ubisoft just released a righteous new trailer for Far Cry 5… Hallelujah!

Far Cry 5 is the next entry in Ubisoft‘s long-running FPS series. This time, it’s not taking place on a tropical island, but in the good ol’ US of A. The game will delve into some controversial territory this time around, focusing on a murderous religious cult. To learn more on the game, check out Ubisoft’s Far Cry game page.

I can already smell the boycotts from the religious right. If they didn’t have enough reason to want violent video games banned already, Ubisoft is about to pour a great big can of gasoline on that fire. I, for one, am looking forward to it – both the game and the backlash.

Far Cry 5 is scheduled for release on 2/27/18 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
